Randy Boyd devoted over 25 years of his life to teaching mathematics at Macdonald High School. His passion for the subject and his unwavering commitment to his students made a lasting impact on generations of learners. Known for his patience, encouragement, and ability to inspire, Mr. Boyd was more than a teacher—he was a mentor who helped shape the futures of countless young people. His dedication extended beyond the classroom, as he fostered a supportive and inclusive environment where students felt valued and motivated to succeed.
Beyond his professional achievements, Randy was a devoted family man. He was the loving husband of Ann Boyd, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Russell of Stockdale, and a proud father and grandfather. Family was the center of his world, and his love and support were constants in their lives. Ann’s mother, known for her beautiful piano playing, was part of a family legacy that Randy cherished deeply. The loss felt by his family is immeasurable, and their grief is shared by all who knew him.
Mr. Boyd’s presence is missed every day in the halls of Macdonald High School. His warm smile, encouraging words, and steadfast spirit remain vivid in the memories of colleagues and students alike. The void left by his passing is a shadow of the profound loss experienced by his loved ones.
